With reference to Your Lordship's predecess- -or's Despatch No. 313 of the 10th December, 1918, approving the grant of a boms at the rate of $100 a month to Mr. A. H. Hollingsworth, Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, for overtime work during the absence of Mr. F. A. Biden on sick leave, I have the honour to request Your Lordship's approval for continuing the bonus at the same rate from the date of Mr. Biden's death, 29th September 1918, to 13th February, 1919, during which time the circum- -atances were precisely the same as on the previous occasion
